Are there any plans implementing support for Wifi AP mode?

We don't have any specific plans at this time, but happy to accept PRs for it. Which wifi driver in particular are you thinking of, Esp8266 or eS-WiFi?

Personally I'm working with an ESP32 whos AT protocoll seems largely the same with ESP8266.
If there's serious differences I'd try look into making a compatible driver for connecting first.
For the AP mode I might need some help but would like to try

Would be really nice to have an ESP32 example as well, feel free to modify the existing driver if you want to. Any help is widely appreciated :)
