Hi all,

Im sort of new to this and dont post much.. but i was looking to create a set of cards for my tesla and i came across this project. I love this. however i wanted to add a few more capabilities.

Ive taken this work and added to it but im not quite sure the best way to share my work if anyone is interested. feedback welcome.

Here are some things ive created or modified

  • changed the controls view to show tire pressure
  • added trunk (and about to add frunk) open and close buttons with image updates showing trunk open and closed
  • added working battery icon with thresholds and different colours - used custom:button-card to achieve
  • added charging connector indicator with different colours (grey - not connected, blue - connected but not charging, green - charging). Also can click as button and will open charger port
  • added lock/unlock on controls page
  • added supercharger image for charging page, still populating that page
  • note - up/down arrows on interior climate dont work yet

Anyway here are some screenshots

I still have a lot of things i woudl like to add/enhance

  • working temp up/ temp down on interior climate
  • working frunk open/close button on controls menu
  • finishing charging dialog

Id also like to find a way around using the input-select options for navigating the project.. for example if i am using the dialog and my wife opens it up, if i change the dialog to say the climate dialog then it will change on hers too.. i want it to be independent for all users.

if anyone can give me an idea as to the best way to share this code, if its of interest, please let me know.

Thanks,
These look nice updates.
I'll try and merge your code with mine this week, I have an update too with working seat heaters, some climate stuff, bug fixes and other bits I can't remember.

Im happy to share this, just not sure where.

I ended up removing the input selects for navigation and set this up as a series of cards on their own views so that when you click the return icon it jumps back to the main view.. again the benefit if this for me was that if two people (wife and i) are on home assistan at the same time, one person's actions on the tesla card doesnt affect the other.

Anyway, excited to see your updates.

Im just working on the charging dialog right now, will share what i come up with.

Thanks agian for your work on this.

Sorry, I thought you'd already created a pull request.
What you can do is create a branch from this repository.
You can then add your code to it anywhere you like and push it.
I'll then combine the two and credit you on the Contributors list as welll. I'm currently just working through some fixes. Updating everything to the latest versions has broken quite a bit

You guys are doing great work :) I am not able for this, but I wanted to let you know I am using the original release.

Hope you can maybe someday get this in a nice HACS release :)
