Problem or Need

What problem are you trying to solve? What need do you have that isn't currently met?
I Use automatic dock hiding as I find it a lot tidyer, but when I try to select one of two windows, the dock hides, which also hides the Dockdoor UI.

Proposed Solution

How do you think this problem could be solved or this need could be met?
One way to solve this could be to allow a two-finger swipe while hovering over the app-icon in the dock that highlights the preferred window.

Alternative Solutions

Have you thought of any other ways to address this? If so, what are they?
Another way that could work would be to have a buffer zone above the dock, but I don't know if MacOS allows for that.

Additional context

Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.

Potential Impact

How would this feature benefit the project and its users?
Allows auto-hiding dock users to benefit from switching between multiple instances of an app.
