When the recorded dns record ip value - in the state annotation - doesn't match the actual dns record value set at cloudflare it logs an uninformative error message that makes you think something has failed. It should issue a proper message though telling you it has skipped deleting the dns record, because it doesn't match what's recorded in the state annotation.
