Your request

Using terraform provider while creating MySQL by default caching_sha2_password is being used and there is no possibility to change it, while that possibility exists in the UI and also it is supported by the API.

Hi @vandot,
Password you set in exoscale_database is admin password and changing auth type is not allowed for it in the upstream service provider (Aiven).

UI supports database user management which allows to use caching_sha2_password for new users (not initially created admin user). Database user management is not yet implemented in terraform-provider. We have it on our roadmap, I will update the ticket when it becomes available.
