This is more a note than an issue! I have seen "WES" used far more frequently than "WXS" to refer to whole exome sequencing. I could be biased, but a significant portion of my dissertation dealt with imputing data from whole exome sequencing, and I've never seen it referred to as WXS until this course. Might be a field thing.
