exception_access_violation on startup

Hi i'm using hammer ++ since long time now and today when i launch it, it make an error

Exception code : 0xc0000005
Execption_access_violation
adress : vguimatsurface.dll!0xAFA6

I tried to completly reinstall game & hammer ++ not work (normal hammer work)

Do u have some solution ?

I'm having the exact same issue.
Everything worked perfectly fine yesterday. I saved my map and Hammer ++ closed like normal.
I came back to it today and i got this error on startup.

May also be a Windows issue. No idea. Microsoft loves to fuck with their users now and then.

Exact same error at the exact same time. I was using Hammer++ fine 5 hours ago. Restarted PC a few hours later and I have the exact issue as described above, same error message and everything.
Specifically the x64 gmod Hammer++. Whatever it was happened today specifically. (Gmod update, maybe?)

Hammer ++ dev said on discord he will fix it soon as possible (today)

This was caused by today's Garry's Mod update, I have just released the hotfix.
Install the Gmod version again and it should work:

Yo I think the problem is running deeper than that. Hotfix is super unstable. (Object Properties causes Hammer++ to hang... Trying to load a .vmf which contains any entity also causes a hang...)
