Hi!
Someone made an idea submission over here: Spotify should take official ownership of the Linux Flatpak package
It's got enough votes to been brought forward, answered with 3rd party partnership rejection policy.
However, they mention "This doesn't mean that such a partnership is not possible in the future, so if we do have any new information to share, rest assured we'll check back in here with a new status."
and linked the FAQ
which states:
We just want to be as transparent as possible and give timely updates, so don’t despair if your idea is set to Case Closed - with time and new votes, we’ll be reviewing our existing suggestion and revising conversations with the right teams.
It should also be noted that we cannot comment on third-party integrations, before they come out. For this reason we will generally set those ideas to Case Closed at some point. Also, in some cases we can’t update the idea until it’s actually been implemented for a variety of reasons.
I wonder if they'll consider it if you can get in touch (maybe email, or tag on tw? @SpotifyCares)
