As per our own demo: http://flash.flowplayer.org/demos/plugins/javascript/controls-apple-ipad.html

Hey, you mentioned to drop a note when Flowplayer 6 was released. Hoping to see this bug get fixed...

@rwhite17 - that bug never existed in Flowplayer HTML5, and Flowplayer 6 is Flowplayer HTML5 version 6.x.

I know. The issue is with flowplayer 5. I was just doing as you said: "We are in the middle of preparing the release of Flowplayer 6, so feel free to ping a reminder afterwards to the bug report." I think you meant everyone was too busy at the time with the pending release, and I should just post to remind everyone about this bug.

@rwhite17 - right, sorry about that. - As you indirectly noticed, Flowplayer 6 needs the usual bug-fixing after the first release, I'll try to look into it as soon as. Note however, that realistically, this will have a rather low priority, not the least as Flowplayer 6 now offer HLS support also in Flash (and therefore the number of scenarios where Flowplayer Flash is needed has shrunk).

Hey there. Just thought I'd give a little poke and see if there's any idea when this issue will be examined...

It's not a bug "in principle", but some CSS stuff which probably hasn't been adapted a) specifically in the demo and b) maybe in the controls plugin. Here's a demo which sort of works (pauses after seek though): http://flowplayer.blacktrash.org/test/jscontrols.html

Thank you for the example. Unfortunately, replacing my css with the css in the demo makes no change to the ipad plugin. No use of the scrubber bar, and touching the player re-starts the video from the beginning. I get the impression there won't likely be anyone fixing this any time soon (or ever?). If that is the case, please let me know and I will seek out another solution. In the meantime, perhaps you should take down the ipad offering on your flowplayer flash site, as the feature does not currently function.

First of all: My personal advice would be to use Flowplayer HTML5 ;-)
Second: My guess is that my sample page works even for you (with the admitted issue that it always pauses after seeking), and in your test you are using an anchor as player container element. If you still have the patience change it to DIV (which is cleaner HTML anyway).
