In Firefox you can set up the Ctrl or Alt keys to scroll extra fast when holding them down and using the mouse wheel. A similar feature would be really useful in Chrome.

Yes it sounds like a good idea. Did you try to play with the acceleration parameters?

Hi.

Yes, I did experiment with acceleration and it certainly helps. In Firefox
I use the ctrl key to scroll about a page per click of the wheel, ideal for
long pages.
