It would be nice if there was an option so that when you click and drag the middle mouse button, it would let you pan websites instead of scrolling. This method of navigation is used in a lot of graphics software, such as AutoCAD, GIMP, Inkscape, and probably others.

I am unsure if my question relates to this ticket, but is there a way to influence Chrome's built-in smooth scrolling speed when single-clicking the middle mouse button (or wheel) and then moving the mouse up or down to auto-scroll the page until the middle button/wheel is clicked again? The slowest speed on Windows is still too fast for me, much fastern than in any other browser. I want to slow down that speed. I found no way to do that in your extension and actually also do not understand the brief explanations for each setting. There is no manual explaining each setting in some more details, thus the stupid question.
