It would be very nice to be able to use the subresource integrity feature together with the assets plugin. For example, the assets plugin could precompute the sha384 value and place it in a variable such as ASSET_CHECKSUM.

It appears this is actually a bug with webassets itself rather than this pelican plugin, so I'm closing this.
