In the go binding, what does the argument to the progress callback represent?

In the go binding, we have the progress callback to the Process function, documented as:

// ProgressCallback is the callback function for reporting progress during
// processing. It is called during the Process function
type ProgressCallback func(int)

What does the argument to the function represent? I'd like to show a progress bar but without knowing what the number is, I can't do so effectively

I have read whisper.cpp code and the value is percentage, from 0 to 100:
