Dear gimportexportdevs, thank you for the awesome app! I use it all the time.

Here is an idea to improve it: have gexporter handle google maps directions.

Today, if I want to import google maps directions into my garmin watch, here is what I do after I click "↱ Directions" on Google maps

  1. Click "⋮"
  2. Click "Share directions"
  3. Click "Copy to clipboard"
  4. Open https://mapstogpx.com/
  5. Paste the clipboard into the field
  6. Edit the text to remove everything but the url
  7. Click "Let's go"
  8. Open the received gpx
  9. Continue with Gexporter

I would love to be able to condense steps 2-8 into one, so that one could directly click "share directions", select Gexporter, and upload the gpx to the watch.

I would like to get in touch with @sverrirs, the developer of https://mapstogpx.com/, in order to ask him if it he would either let us use his website as an api, or share how it works so that it can be implemented in the app.

What do you think? My app development skills are rusty, but I would be up for giving it a try, if you think this is a direction where you would like to go.

Cheers!
