IDAssigner and the tmetautils package are newer than the current release on GitHub, and using Go Modules will only grab tagged releases without specifying a git commit on the go get command.

Thanks for pointing this out. I've released v0.2.0 with the latest stuff and added a go.mod for good measure. Let me know if that solves everything you're running into.
