When will Google Assistant Library stop working?

Hi, I'm currently developing a test-app where I need to use the Library since some important functions are still missing from the service.

I can't seem to find any information on when it will stop working? Are there any dates that google has set as to when it will stop working?
It's been deprecated for soon to be 2 years but some main functionalities are still missing from the service, like hotword. How so?
