I cannot replicate this - are you sure the game didn't prompt you to trigger a reaction, and you clicked Ujina thinking that you were choosing a target to remove from the game? In these situations, it makes it much much much easier to find the problem if you include a screenshot and a pastebin of the game log |
Completely sure (I was the Dragon player). Likewise, as a Forced Reaction
it shouldn't have given me a choice about using the Reaction.

But when I tried to replicate the same scenario, the client does give you the choice of which reaction to trigger first, and that's what I wanted to check you hadn't misunderstood |
I never got an option to trigger Ujina; my opponent who was playing Phoenix
got to trigger him before I had a window to trigger Yokuni.

During a match I was first player (had the first player token) and was playing Dragon. My opponent was playing Phoenix and attacked me using the Void Ring using Isawa Ujina (Forced Reaction: After the void ring is claimed, choose a character with no fate – remove that character from the game. (Unlimited.)). I defend. Among my defenders is Togashi Yokuni. Yokuni copies Ujina's ability. At the end of the conflict, however, despite my being both first player and defender, my opponent's Ujina triggers first and he kills one of my characters; then my Yokuni gets to use his Reaction to kill Ujina.
Nonetheless, as first player I should have had the first opportunity to React, in which case I would have been able to destroy Ujina before his Reaction went off. This was confirmed by Tsar Agus.
