# Quick introduction to the fonts
## Lexend Font Family
Lexend is a variable typeface with weight axis (Thin to Black) designed to improve reading fluency

## Lokxend Font Family
### Lokxend info
Lokxend is basically Lexend with 3 glyphs from the alternative set locked in as default. This means you don't need software that supports OTF (Open Type Features) anymore, just download and install this font.

The three modifications:

* Dotted `0`
* Alt `g`
* Alt `a`

### Lokxend > How to download
Step 1) Read on font width on [Official website - Lexend.com](https://www.lexend.com/)) 
Step 2?) Download Lokxend Deca [here] **link**
Step 2?) If you want a font with more width (based on Lexend exa, giga, mega, ...) look for it in the corresponding folder.
Step 3) Open the .ttf file and follow the installation wizard.

This project exists only to improve compatibility and ease of use for software that doesn't support easily switching to alternative glyphs. Lokxend is completely based on [Lexend](https://www.lexend.com/)) but is in no way related to it; Lokxend  has a different name to avoid confusion and to facilitate finding it (typing `LE` ≠ `LO`).
