  • Problem Statement

The current implementation allows only the Relay bridge to bridge ETH directly to Forma. This limitation restricts other powered bridges from bridging supported tokens, such as ETH, and swapping them to TIA and subsequently to Forma. This creates a lack of flexibility for users who prefer alternative bridges for their transactions, impacting overall efficiency and user experience.

  • Additional Context

Enabling other bridges to perform similar functions will enhance interoperability and offer users more options for token bridging and conversion, improving usability.

  • Proposed Solution

Extend the current functionality to allow other powered bridges, beyond the Relay bridge, to bridge ETH or other supported tokens and perform the swap to TIA and then to Forma directly. This enhancement will give users more choices while retaining the token conversion process.

-Alternative Approaches

An alternative would be to design a generic interface that any bridge can implement, enabling it to manage the ETH to TIA to Forma conversion. This would allow other bridges with similar features to integrate seamlessly.

  • Optional Enhancements

Consider adding support for multi-token bridging within a single transaction. This feature would enable users to bridge multiple supported tokens at once, swap them to TIA, and convert them to Forma, offering a more streamlined experience for advanced users.
