You have a great variety of supported syntax styles, but I was wondering whether it would be any trouble to include org-mode in a manner like this: * TODO This is a task or ** TODO This is a second level task and so on. I believe this would also work well for markdown in that bulleted TODO items could be recognized in the same manner as a top-level heading in org-mode.
In a .org file, I imagine that everything under the heading should be included in some way as part of the task description (within reason regarding the type of content, I guess), meaning that one could include full paragraphs and, potentially, sub-tasks (which would be all new features, I know... just thinking out loud).
