Describe the bug
Subscription to workflows does not produce notifications

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. From within channel, type /github subscribe <owner/repo> reviews comments discussions workflows
  2. No notifications are received for workflows, but all other notifications are coming through just fine
  3. I have tried various configurations for workflows, adding filters for name, event, etc. - nothing has any effect

Expected behavior
I would expect notifications for workflows

Screenshots
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: MacOS 14.7
  • Browser - Slack
  • Version 4.40.128

Additional context
I do not see any screens about updating permissions. I have discussed the issue with the slack admins for my organization, but they do not see any settings on their side that would seemingly preclude this functionality

The solution offered here: #1965 did work - specifically to add "push" to the list of event triggers for the workflow subscription.

The documentation doesn't specify that this would be required - it would be nice to have it updated!
