[Feature request] Add caesura lines or content break lines

• I have searched the issue tracker for a feature request that matches the one I want to file, without success.

I would like the ability to have content break or broken connecting lines, or even lines with one side broken to where two graphics could be show a connectivity similar to diagrams showing a longer wire/line, etc. that have been shortened. I've included a image that demonstrates what I mean. I've heard them referred to as a caesura, or even a conventional break.
