I asked this on Stack Overflow. I'm using sbt 1.1.2 on Ubuntu 17.10 with Oracle Java 1.8.
After much time searching for resolution, it appears that no one has reported this issue. This leads me to guess that this may be a recently-introduced problem in sbt 1.1.2.
Can we have a "unix" terminal which both supports Readline library AND handles the <ENTER> key properly?
