Betty’s Chili |
This recipe comes from my mom's mom (dunno where it came from before that or if it was original).
2 Tbls Crisco | brown | brown | add | simmer for up to a day! |
1 lb ground beef | ||||
1/2 cup onion | chop | |||
28 oz can tomatoes in juice | ||||
3 Tbls brown sugar | ||||
1 tsp chili powder | ||||
3/4 tsp salt | ||||
small can red kidney beans |
- 2 Tbls Crisco or vegetable oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 28 oz can tomatoes in juice
- 3 Tbls brown sugar
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- small can of red kidney beans, not drained
- additional can of tomato puree or tomato juice or tomato soup (if needed to increase quantity)
