User story

As a team member on the security team I want to be able to see which technologies are in use so that we can more easily target remediation of security vulnerabilities

As a developer on a product team I want to be able to see which other products use a given technology so that I know which projects I can copy or collaborate with

Acceptance criteria

  • For a given component it is possible to see which technologies are in use at a high
  • The following technologies should be visible:
    • Programming language. Examples: java, python, golang
    • Framework. Examples: react, angular, spring-boot
  • There exists a way to search or filter down components to a given technology
  • Documentation is written and contains
    • How to add this information to a component
    • A list of which technologies are commonly added to components that new components can pick from so that a team doesn’t typo so we get technologies like javascript and js that mean the same thing
