Could xstate-tree alleviate need for advanced xstate features?

Could xstate-tree alleviate need for advanced xstate features?

Like:

• Delayed transitions
• Eventless transitions
• Nested states
• Parallel states
• History states
• Final states

Just thinking how far one could go with xstate-tree and only xstate/fsm ? The goal being to reduce bundle size.

I realize xstate is currently a depencency of xstate-tree. Does it need to be?
