The main page says

[Deprecated] A command line tool to convert markdown file to pdf.

Is this tool no longer supported? Is there a recommended replacement?

Yes. But you can still install it from PyPI or git URL.

OK. The question was leading to "if I submit fixes, are they going to get merged and released?" Being deprecated means "no".
