We have finally added a contributor license agreement so that we can give our code to ARK and one day get a license change. The way this works, is that https://cla-assistant.io/ is hooked into pull requests (like Travis CI), and if you haven't already accepted the CLA, you will be asked to do so. You can see an example of that in pull request #84. Click "View details" on the merge to see the "license/cla" verification.
So here's how we're going to do it:
Create a pull request removing yourself from the list of copyright holders in README.md (I've already added ARK)
Wait a few seconds
Go into the pull request and accept the CLA
Merge the pull request, or wait for someone else to do it
Get a beer on me next time you meet me at Samfundet
