Original report (archived issue) by Shaun Johnstone (Bitbucket: shjohnst, GitHub: shjohnst).

There are group/ungroup channels buttons on the on the interface, but these do not do anything yet.

I believe that the original idea was to be able to select several channels and group them so that they would be plotted together on the same y-axis.
