Custom properties allow you to decorate your repository with information such as compliance frameworks, data sensitivity, or project details.

Indicates component is not recommended for the new usage independent of maintenance mode. Users should consider migrating away.

Indicates whether a repository is a published component for the public usage and as such a subject to maintenance policies. Repositories for not yet published components, skeleton apps, CI tooling and documentation websites are not.
