Documentation Lacking

I feel that at one point, the documentation of this repo was probably great and up to date. However, I feel that at this point, we need to go back and clean up the docs. Case in point: if any of you go back through the examples using postgres and rust, you will see that none of the examples are working out of the box. In order to get any of the examples into a working state, one must go through a fair amount of tinkering.

In order to keep this project up and running, we need to make the examples we use in the docs updated to the nines. It is very off putting to come across a project that has out of date examples/documentation.

We only have so much time to spend on this project in a week. Keeping the examples updated falls lower in priority than triaging issues, merging PRs, fixing bugs and developing new features.
