cargo sqlx prepare --workspace not working

It's my first time to try sqlx. I want to go offline mode in my crate (under a workspace) with query! running cargo sqlx prepare --workspace. However, it's not working, reporting the same error:

The command seems to fail to solve this error. From the doc this command is all I can get. Anything I missed? Thanks in advance.

Are you passing the database-url to cargo sqlx prepare?

No, I didn't pass the database url to that command. Nor did I set DATABASE_URL in .env file.

Ok,I know. The reason "offline mode" in doc has quotes is because it's not actually offline, but a cache requiring database url to build metadata. A bit misleading but solved^^
