The old logstash organization is a relic from before elastic.co was formed. The logstash-logback-encoder repository was the only active repository in the logstash organization. The other remaining repositories in the logstash organization have not been active for years. Most projects that previously existed in the logstash organization (such as logstash) were relocated to the elastic organization years ago.
Additionally, as maintainers of logstash-logback-encoder (@philsttr, @brenuart), we do not have the permissions necessary to fully maintain logstash-logback-encoder in the logstash organization. For example, we cannot enable GitHub integrations such as codecov. And we cannot be granted the permissions necessary, since we're not affiliated with elastic.
What's next?
In the future, we're also debating renaming and refactoring the logstash-logback-encoder project to better reflect that it has evolved into a much broader scope than just logstash-specific features. Nothing has been decided yet, but stay tuned.

Welcome to the new home of logstash-logback-encoder... logfellow!
What?
We've transferred the logstash-logback-encoder repository from the logstash organization to the new logfellow organization.
