OpenpilotHardware

Welcome to the Openpilot Hardware Collection!

This repository is a curated collection of open source hardware projects related to Openpilot. Most of the projects in this collection are created using KiCad, an open source electronic design automation tool.

Please note that I am not associated with comma.ai. If you're looking to support comma/Openpilot, the best way to do so is by purchasing official hardware from their designated store. Supporting the official channels helps sustain the development and ongoing support of Openpilot, ensuring the best experience and compatibility with the software.

Contributing

I welcome contributions from the open source hardware community! If you've made improvements to an existing project, please follow these steps:

  1. Fork the repository to your own GitHub account.
  2. Create a new branch for your contribution.
  3. Add your project to the appropriate directory, including all relevant files and documentation.
  4. Ensure that your project follows open source hardware principles and includes appropriate licensing information.
  5. Commit your changes and push the branch to your forked repository.
  6. Submit a pull request to the main repository, describing your contribution and any relevant details.

I appreciate all contributions, whether they're new projects, improvements to existing projects, fixes, or documentation enhancements. By sharing your work, you help grow the open source hardware community and empower others to learn and create.
