First let me say I love this project and am using it already! Brilliant. Something I've always really really wanted to do in i3 is now going to be (i think) much more easy to do with lifebar than with i3bar

Just like people rename different workspaces, it would be really sweet to be able to add custom icons to each workspace too, or to draw a font icon glyph in each button before the workspace name is printed in the regular font

Is this type of a thing possible in the foreseeable future of lifebar? =D

Hi Viktor,

Yeah I like this idea. Font glyphs would be very easy to add (I now have full UTF-8 working as used by the temperature degree symbol and the upload/download speed arrows). Image icons would take a little longer but I'll add them to the TODO.

Right now I am adding as many 'modules' as I can think of to make sure all the expected functionality is there. Then I'll be adding layout configuration so you can select which modules you want on which outputs and in which order.

Then I have already had a feature request for notification area icons, and after that will look towards adding custom images to the modules, including workspace buttons.

Thanks for your input! And thanks for using lifebar :P

Great, that is awesome! Can't wait to see what you do with Lifebar in the future. I've noticed a few basic issues, but I assume you are well aware of them.. should I start issue threads for em or hold off a bit?

By all means start issue threads for everything you see. I can comment on their progress as I go :)
