thanks! |
Great! Thanks you! |
working here too! =D |
YES! It works great with the latest WA app! THX! |
Still not working for me on MacOS. I tried a clean install of the direct download link, but it's still all messed up. https://i.imgur.com/rGpixy4.png Anyone got a fix? It was working before and I miss dark mode! |
I managed to find a work around in one of the other issue threads. If anyone's having issues, download this and extract it to the WADark folder then run again. Fixed it for me. https://github.com/m4heshd/whatsapp-desktop-dark/files/4394259/0.4.2080-Workaround.zip |
Thank you very much :) |
It works now, many thanks! |
It worked for me too, although I ran into so many issues I almost thought it wouldn't. |
Doesn't work on MacOS with Whatsapp version: 2.2023.2. |
I have made a fork and fixed the issues. You can now select between light and dark mode. The WhatsApp team has integrated the options in the app but is hidden right now. The fork enables the hidden menu. |
Works Perfectly! @m4heshd kindly merge this fork. |
Thank you! It works. Make sure you are going to SETTINGS > CHATS > THEME > DARK |
Thank you so much! |
Whatsapp team already created a dark theme in its default css, but for some reason it's not available to switch in any part of the web or desktop app.
But all you have to do is add a dark class in the body tag.
How to do that?
Download the alterated version for mac or windows

The only files I changed was dark.css and wadark.js
