Welcome to the Magento DevDocs!

Before the Magento Documentation team goes on break next week per Adobe's North American summer shutdown, we wanted to give you all an update on some important work that we're doing.
We are making changes to the DevDocs project architecture over the next two weeks that impact existing and future pull requests. These changes are required for archiving v2.1 content after the June 2019 end-of-support date for Magento v2.1.
See https://magento.com/sites/default/files/magento-software-lifecycle-policy.pdf.
Specifically, we are:
- Replacing symlinks from v2.2 to v2.1 with actual files.
- Moving all v2.1 files to a new branch in the devdocs repository.
These changes mean that you can no longer apply the same changes to all versions of a file by updating the v2.1 file only. We will continue using symlinks between v2.3 and v2.2 when the files are the same, so you can continue making contributions to v2.2 and v2.3 using the symlink workflow.
As a result of v2.1 reaching end-of-support, we are no longer accepting new pull requests to v2.1 DevDocs. In the coming weeks, we will also review and close existing v2.1 issues and pull requests.
We won't be processing PRs next week, but we will resume processing on July 8th.
Thanks for all your contributions and please keep them coming (just not for 2.1).
