Camera Tools
The Camera Tools panel provides functions to create an ortographic camera (which can be set to isometric or axonometric), to align your camera to the selected optical illusion, and to add the camera transform, to move object along the camera line of sight.
Axonometric Camera
Creates an ortographic camera (which means that all the light rays are caster perpedicular to the camera). In the ortographic perspective, parallel lines do not converge to a vanishing point, and therefore there is no perception of distance.
Axonometric Camera Options
- Set Active Camera: By default the new camera becomes the active camera upon creation.
- Orthographic Scale: Size of the camera field of view.
- Camera Alignment: Isometric or Axonometric. Isometric cameras have the following rotation values: (54.736°, 0°, 45°). Axonometric cameras have variable X and Z rotations.
Camera Transform
Adds the active camera local transform to the Transform Orientation options. Useful to move objects along the camera line-of-sight.
Alignment Tools: Camera-to-Object
Select an illusion object created with the Paradox Toolkit addon. The Camera-to-Object operator aligns the camera rotation with the optical illusion of the selected object (this only works with objects created with the addon).
Alignment Tools: Object-to-Camera
Select an illusion object created with the Paradox Toolkit addon. The Object-to-Camera operator aligns the object rotation, such that the optical illusion is visible from the camera line of sight.
