Regarding Micronaut Data @Query reading SQL query from application.yml file

I'm trying to read the SQL query from the properties.yml file but am getting the error below:

No argument for the named parameter ': id'

Repository:
Entity findById(String id);

Not Working:
@Query(value = "${myapp.query}")
Entity findById(String id);

myapp:
   Query: SELECT e from Entity e WHERE e.id =:id

Working:
@Query("SELECT e from Entity e WHERE e.id = :id")
Entity findById(String id);

(fetch 1 row only)
myapp:
   Query: SELECT e from Entity e 

Info:
micronaut version: 4.5.1
postgres version: 42.7.4

Is there any specific format in which I must write a query in the properties file? Any help is appreciated. T.I.A
