With slightly more beyond trivial things inside .vscode folder .... using both cl and clang-cl.exe compilers, two or more configurations, referencing local setting.json, local c_cpp_settings.json and that kind of things.

@typno8-nEbtos-hibmik please move your case to a separate issue. this is strictly about using VSCode + VisualStudio + clang-cl.exe, as poor (windows) men build systems. Thanks.

This repository is focused on the Remote - Containers extension and Linux Codespaces, which does not support Visual Studio today, so I'm not sure that would appropriate for this particular repository. Happy to review a PR, however.
