I've been looking for something that would allow me to rebind keyboard keys for different Emulator Cores and Games using RetroArch. RetroArch lacks that functionality because their vaunted "Analogue-to-Digital" function doesn't work, meaning that setting the default keybinds to account for a dual-stick analogue controller means that trying to play games on their PSX core leaves one stuck with the arrow keys as direction controls, instead of WASD as I prefer.
So I was hoping that this would work for me, but the binds set by default aren't the ones I want. So, I tried to edit the X-Arcade 1 Player D-Pad to my prefered Keybinds:
"W" = up
"S" = down
"A" = left
"D" = right
"I" = RAnalogue up
"K" = RAnalogue down
"J" = RAnalogue left
"L" = RAnalogue right
"Numpad2" = A
"Numpad1" = B
"Numpad5" = X
"Numpad4" = Y
"Numpad6" = L
"Numpad3" = R
"Numpad7" = L2
"Numpad8" = R2
"Enter" = Start
"Space" = Select
But it doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure if it's X-Arcade simply not working with RetroArch or the rebinds I set not working. My RetroArch Controller Driver is set to "Xinput".
