Not sure if I should start a new issue or if this is an extension of this issue, but I've found icons has a strange interaction with Quarto (aka R Markdown 2.0 that all the cool kids seem to be getting excited about). Specifically I've found the icons generate extra output that breaks the formatting when they're included in lists or tables. I'm not sure if this is a Quarto issue or something that can be resolved at the icons package end, but just throwing it out there in case you have any ideas @mitchelloharawild Example:
