Directly show content when clicking on the preview

When clicking on a content preview, currently the post info page is shown.
Even in the post info page, it is not possible to view a linked image in full size.

It would be very helpful if instead of showing the post info page, the content is directly shown.
For example, if the content is an image, show the image in full screen.
Link to a web page, open the web page in a (embedded or external) browser view.
