compare-dependencies does not fail if remotePom is invalid #1079

versions:compare-dependencies:2.16.2 shows no error if remotePom parameter value is non existing artifact.

[INFO] The following differences were found:
[INFO] none
[INFO] The following property differences were found:
[INFO] none

I think it should fail in case the remote pom cannot be resolved.
