I have a forked version which should work on CURRENT: https://github.com/neelchauhan/linux-browser-installer It has one side-effect: package verification is disabled. I had to do it to make it work on CURRENT. |

yeah i still cant get it to work this is the errors i recieve im using brave as an example No matching processes belonging to you were found Any ideas id love to get it working again |

Sorry for the delay. I run CURRENT too and am able to get Brave working with my forked repo. Considering you had "GPU process isn't usable. Goodbye." errors, which GPU and driver do you have? Intel? AMD? Nvidia? Something else? |

i got it running on that laptop which has i915 and a also nvidia and it was running under the i915 and one day j ust stopped working. but right now i just got my beast of a box up and running cause we moved and finally have a big enough spot for the box i put together about 18 months ago that my wife made me put in storage cause there wasnt enough room for it in our old bedroom now that we moved last month i have the whole third floor for as my wife calls it itt tech gadgets. but this box has a 5700xt graphics card installed my own water cooler on it the whole machine itself is over kill with the top of the line stuff top of the line as of 18 months ago which are now almost obsolete but not even close trhey just have all been upgraded 10 times over since both graphics cards and also processor it has a 64 core amd trx40 processor now they got the upgraded ones which are called what now thread ripper pros but at the time i built it they still didnt release the 128 core regular threadripper i only got to use it for like 3 months before it went to storage but now that shes back im happy about it. def worth the wait but im gonna try and see if your current fork works on this box ill keep you posted on how that goes/ But def enjoying it. Compiled the whole ports tree with poudriere with a fresh cache with 0 zero cache for ccache in 5 hours it on my laptop which is still all recent and top of the line for a laptop atleast i feel like would take\ a week to compile the ports tree ine full but im gonna test your fork out right now @neelchauhan so ill let you know thanks your times much appreciative |
At one point I had it working fine but now can’t get any at all to run I even tried destroy thenchroot and cleaning the system and fresh install the cheroot etc and nothing still I keep getting an error about
Gpu_process_host exit code 134 failed to connect to bus did not receive a reply back before that and failed to initialize Dev monitor or to set no new privs failed address tracker could not create net link socket and prior to that could not connect to bus could not parse server address and to start the errors off unknown key font-name failed to connect to bus the message bus security policy blocked the reply.
Any ideas anyone..
