By fixing this issue we have a foundation for packaging upon which we can build installers for:

  • Windows (64bit)
  • Mac OSX
  • Linux

Furthermore, we should be able to produce "web" assets for folks to run Mu in their browsers.

Unlike PyQt electron is trivial to flatpak, combined with some friends at flathub we could be distributed quite quickly
