Today I used patch-package to patch [email protected] for the project I'm working on.

Here is the diff that solved my problem:

Hi @bswnth, unfortunately there are a lot of known bugs in react-native-material-textfield and this lib appears to be abandoned.
I suggest you using this fork rn-material-ui-textfield that has fixed these and some other bugs.

If you want to give it a try just run

npm install --save rn-material-ui-textfield
