Description

According to planned timeline in #2746, disable functionality of VOTAN cloud machines and end service.

Acceptance criteria

  • disable VOTAN connections to GCN Classic
  • decommission external VTP broker machines
  • close accounts

To disable user sites:
You can unsubscribe voevents via the sites2.cfg file. I think the users have
DIST_METHOD VOEVENT11
DIST_METHOD VOEVENT20

To disable connections to VOTANs:
You would just disable the VOTAN feed entry in the sites2.cfg file.
The VOTAN feed connections are also in the sites2.cfg file:
The votan feeds have:
DIST_METHOD VO_FEED11
DIST_METHOD VO_FEED20

To shutdown VOTAN programs:
login to the VOTAN machine and do a source votan_kill
