click handler not attaching (rails 5.0, jquery-ujs)

Hi,
$(document).on('ready turbolinks:load page:update ajaxComplete') isn't triggering for me on page load, and therefore not attaching the click handler to my delete link. However skipping that (basically just commenting it out) works fine.

Figured I'd leave this here in case there is something I'm missing or if someone else runs into the same thing.
