Hello!
What do you think about events? E.g. changeTab event called when the active tab change. I need it because of I want to change wallpaper when a specified tab is active (e.g. is an "ssh-tab", change wallpaper to see that this isn't the local machine).

events/signals are awesome.
lua-api-wise, I think luakit and awesome are great examples of how things (signals, keybinds, ..) can be done. (browser and window manager respectively, both configurable through lua bindings)
